Beyond the Mist – TEASER!

On an earlier post, some of you may have been curious about what I meant by “Fantasy Prospects“. Well, today I’m happy to reveal a brand new project that I’ve been working on with the amazing members of the Pixel Mixers community.

Beyond the Mist is a tribute album to Final Fantasy 9 featuring over 20 PRODUCERS and MUSICIANS (pretty insane if you ask me)! Some talents include:

We’re pretty much covering the ENTIRE Final Fantasy 9 OST from top to bottom.

To make things better, the project creator, Hashel, has just released a Teaser for it. You can find the names of the artists and titles of each song in the teaser within the description. And of course, yours truly can be found towards the end.

As a note, this is not a final product as we still have mastering to do, but you’ll get the idea.

We are shooting for a release window of Q2 – 2019. More information about an official release date will be available soon.

Kingdom Rhythm and Pixels

So it certainly has been a while since I’ve been on a Podcast; the last one I did was with “The Geek Music Podcast“, which sadly is no longer in production. So when “Rhythm and Pixels” came to me and said they wanted to do an interview, and given how they were ecstatic to talk more Kingdom Hearts with me, and after I just finished a Kingdom Hearts based music production, I wholeheartedly said yes!

I had a great time with the dynamic duo Rob and Pernell; two excellent hosts and masters of their craft. I felt invited, loved the chill tone and just geeking out about multiple games and soundtracks. I’ve run into a few new tunes as well! We had some great laughs, and honestly, I think they’ve become one of my new favorite podcasts to be on, right next to Press Start to Continue!

That said, I must request a golf clap on my behalf in braving the Kingdom Hearts explanation task. It certainly wasn’t easy, but you’ve got to give me some credit!

Episode 17-3 of the Rhythm and Pixel podcast is available on iTunes, public RSS feed (this method works best for Pocket Cast users), and more which you can find on their website,

So I’ve finally done it.

After literally years of contemplating a new blog, navigating through a plethora of solutions and options, taking into account careful consideration to time and even money in spinning up another site with, of course, blog level “special requirements”, I decided to bite the bullet.
